Hi Accounts- How to Create a Company Profile


How to Create a Company Profile in Hi Accounts application

 

After activation of the Hi Accounts software application the first thing we need to do is to setup a company. Many software have its own design and flow to complete the Company profile. It is very simple and easy using Hi Accounts to create a Company Profile including the GST information with other ledgers associated.
Here I will explain with the step by step procedure to create a Company profile in Hi Accounts Software Application with the screen shots.
  1. Launch the application, click on Manage Company.
  2. Provide username as- admin and password as- admin. Then click on Submit button.Hi Accounts- Company Setup- Super Admin Login
  3. Click on Add button in the Manage Company page.Hi Accounts- Company Setup- Add Company
  4. Provide The Company Name, username, password and your valid email ID. Then click on Create button.

  6. Provide the company details with GST number and GST registration date and click on Next button.

  7. Provide the Last accounting year closing date, closing method and number of periods (Months). The current Accounting Year date will automatically set. Click on Next button.

  8. Select Industry Classification and type of Business. Related ledgers will be created and listed below. Click on Next button.Hi Accounts- Company Setup- Chart Of Accounts
  9. Select the checkbox to get the alerts in the preferred due dates. In GST Return if you are returning monthly then select 1, else if you are returning every three month once select 3, else if you are returning every 6 months once the select 6.   10. Here account types are all set appropriately, still if you need to change then click on dropdown and select the type. And at the end click on Save button.Hi Accounts- Company Setup- Ledgers
  11. A MSIC code is needed to specify the business category. Click on Add MSIC Code, search by appropriate keyword and select the MSIC code.Hi Accounts- Company Setup- MSIC
  12. After selecting the MSIC code, click on the checkbox and click on Save button.Hi Accounts- Company Setup- MSIC Code Select
  13. The configuration Company is completed. You are redirected to Authentication Page. Here select your company as shown below.Hi Accounts- Company Setup- Authentication Page
  14. Input your username and password, which was created during the company setup. And click on Submit button.Hi Accounts- Company Setup- User Login

Hi Accounts- How to Add a Supplier in the application

How to Add a Supplier in Supplier Maintenance using HI Accounts application software

 

 

In the previous post I have explained how to create the Company profile in Hi Accounts application.
Here I will show how to add a supplier in Hi Accounts application software. For purchasing any item either from wholesaler or retailer we need to know details of him, such as name, company, contact information, etc., which will be used while Adding Supplier in the application. Those values will be recorded and it is one time process, whereas you need not to add the same supplier for every transaction. Now let us see how to add a Supplier in Supplier Maintenance of the application.
After setting up the company and logging in to the application you will be redirected to the Home Page as shown below.

  1. Click on Account Payable menu and then Supplier Maintenance.Hi Accounts- Add Supplier 01
  2. Supplier Maintenance page will be launched. Here Click on Add button.Hi Accounts- Add Supplier 02
  3. Provide the known information about the Supplier, and Click on Save Button. (Note: Fields with * mark are mandatory). Observe that for the Terms field there are no values to select. To add the information, click on the [+] button next to it, then provide the data and click on Save button. Next select the value for Terms field.Hi Accounts- Add Supplier 03
  4. After saving, the Supplier will be listed in the Supplier Maintenance page with brief information. Here in the example I have added one Supplier, hence only one is listed. Similarly you can add multiple Suppliers.Hi Accounts- Add Supplier 04

How to Add a Customer in Customer Maintenance using HI Accounts application software

 

 In the previous post I have explained how to add a Supplier in Hi Accounts application.

Here I will show how to add a Customer in Hi Accounts application software. For selling any item to a person we need to know details of him, such as name, contact number, etc., which will be used while Adding Customer information in the application. Those values will be recorded and it is one time process, whereas you need not to add the same customer for every transaction. Now let us see how to add a Customer in Customer Maintenance of the application.
Login into the application by selecting the Company in the Company Management page and providing valid username & password, you will be redirected to the Home Page as shown below.



1. Click on Account Receivables menu and then Customer Maintenance.

2. Customer Maintenance page will be launched. Click on Add button.

3. Provide the known information about the Customer, and Click on Save Button. (Note: Fields with * mark are mandatory). Observe that for the Terms field there are no values to select.
